Painters trousers are nearly always white in colour. They usually include features such as cargo pockets/hammer loops for tools.
Why are painters trousers white? - Painters wear white trousers because they easily show up spills, drips and stains. This helps prevent paint from being spread around the place. For example, if you were painting a wall green whilst wearing a green jumper you might not notice green paint on your sleeve, meaning you could spread this around very easily without noticing.
